OpenPegasus, aka Pegasus, is an implementation of the DMTF's CIM/WBEM infrastructure. It includes both a server and a C++ client.

OpenPegasus is available for a wide variety of platforms, including most versions of UNIX, Linux, Windows, OpenVMS, and OS/400. It is currently being ported to embedded environments and is probably the most ubiquitous CIM/WBEM implementation available.
