Part of the Accord MFT suite, the Accord OFTP2 provides an Odette File Transfer Protocol library implementation for Java, based on the RFC 5024.

When created the aim of Odette FTP was to facilitate the transmission of a file between one or more locations in a way that is independent of the data communication network, system hardware and software environment.
