GWALKBelow snapshot is a handy-crafted client-server application (formerly known as GWALK) written with C, GTK+, ALSA and Linux operating system but is no longer being developped nor maintained. (please refer to Wiki for more info and Download section for Live Demo).
Written for my university final project where the main purpose is for remote teaching-learning process in the music field using keyboards instrument (MIDI) so that the learner and the teacher can communicate and interact in separate places, where single/multiple keystroke will send directly to the peer client (bandwidth dependent) also support MIDI recording.
As you might expected there won't be much documentation you could gather from here, digg the source and play around =)
Hardware requirements:2 Keyboards with MIDI support
Although it was tested with these following devices:
Yamaha PSR 1500 KORG X1
Any other instrument that support MIDI device will do, hopefully :D
