This app will be a xmpp server for your Android(tm) device.

This won't be a xmpp client.

But what do this means for the users?

First of all, it makes all your contacts from you mobile phone available in your xmpp / jabber client. So you could receiver and write messages direct from notebook or desktop pc.

Even xmpp and jabber are a standard protocol and should work with all clients please let us know if this also works with your client. We have it tested with different Clients.
