We have seen many comparisons to how java is slow to code, and how script languages, like ruby and python, are so fast. Thanks to some mvc frameworks like rails and django, the initial speed of coding in these languages are really fast.

But java can also be that fast. We spend too much time configuring and putting things together. If we had a base project, like the ones Rails and django generates, we would have a very fast and powerful environment.

Also if we could provide some client and server frameworks we could keep this speed even in the middle of the development.

That's the purpose of Rocket Science project.
