IntroductionI am a programmer and designer, and sufficiently knowledgeable in Ruby and PHP. I recently began switching the majority of my projects to Rails, but still enjoy the WordPress platform.

The idea of RubyPress is to create a comparable blogging platform or port of WordPress, only written in Ruby on Rails. I've been developing with WordPress since its early days and hope we are able to bring the same intuitive features and user-friendly GUI of WordPress to the Ruby and Rails community.

Get Involved!RubyPress is bare. It hasn't a file to its name. I will begin this project on my spare time, but will always welcome the contributions of anyone who is excited to join, regardless of how much or little they are able to add.
