alt-bb aims to provide a set of J2ME libraries to help BlackBerry developers overcome the limitations of the platform.

The initial aim is to create a helper for networking. This is one of the biggest hurdles in third part BlackBerry development - opening a network connections! This project has Reversi in production and Oware alpha phase. The next goal is to finish allowing Oware to be played against Artificial Intelligence and another player. Another goal is to allow 2 players to play over automated Jabber or Bluetooth. Oware can be created using build script and svn checkout, but is not in the downloads....

We developed new tools which cooperatively can be used to map evolving protein interaction networks at the module level. These tools are implemented as plugins for the widely used Cytoscape network visualization platform. The first plugin provides a user-friendly implementation of Affinity Propagation - a general purpose clustering algorithm (Brendan J. Frey and Delbert Dueck, Science 2007) which can be used to identify coherent modules in biological networks. The second plugin addresses the problem of visual analysis of network evolution and comparison of networks across species. It provides the capability to visualize consecutive evolutionary stages of protein interaction networks based on phylogenetic information. Together, the two plugins can be used to identify and trace the evolution of network modules. ...
